Late Cancelation & No Show Policy

The goal of Hello Therapy is to provide the highest quality mental health care to all our patients in a timely manner. Late cancelations, no-shows, and significantly late arrivals interrupt not only our providers but our other patients as well. As such, please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments.

Appointment Cancellation

When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on your therapist’s calendar that is no longer available to our other patients. In order to be respectful of your fellow patients, please notify Hello Therapy as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.

If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 24 hours in advance. While we fully understand that unexpected delays can sometimes occur (unexpected medical situations, transportation difficulties, etc), and while we work to make accommodations whenever possible - appointments with your provider are in high demand and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time.

In cases where we receive a cancelation with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full session cost of the missed appointment will be charged. You may always inquire whether there is an option to meet virtually if you are unable to attend an in-person session.

How to Cancel Your Appointment

If you need to cancel your appointment, please email us at hello@hellotherapylv.com or call or text us at 702-381-2192 between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm. If necessary, you may leave a detailed message in your therapist’s voicemail box. We will return your call as soon as possible.

Late Cancellations/No-Shows

A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is canceled less with less than 24 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without canceling. In either case, we will charge the patient up to the full session cost of the missed appointment.

For new patients’ first appointments, a no-show or late cancellation will result in a full charge of the new patient fee.
